“Our Div 3 side took on Leeming Strikers on friday night with our boys eager to win and continue their good patch of results over the last couple of months! An explosive start to the game saw Perth AFC completely dominate the first half hour against 3rd placed Leeming. Kev Clary was the star of the show with a brilliant hattrick inside the first 30 mins! However, Leeming pegged it back to 3-2 amidst panic in our team but a breakaway goal on half time gave us a 4-2 lead.
Second half Leeming come out strong and took advantage of some poor defending to make it 4-3 and boost their morale But to the boys credit they regrouped and a great 20 min spell by Liang with 2 fantastic goals and a superb strike from De oliveira snuffed any hopes of a Leeming come back to make it 7-3 with 15 mins to go. Complacency set in late in 2nd half to gift Leeming two more goals however the AFC Boys ran out 7-5 winners in a cracking game of attacking football and spectacular goals that kept everyone watching the game happy. A great win by the boys as we try move up the ladder!”
