We Started Very Strongly And Created Some Good Chances But didn't Convert.

Perth AFC league team headed to Len Shearer Reserve to take on Murdoch Uni, a game we needed to show that we are up for division 4.

We started very strongly and created some good chances but didnt convert and subsequently on Murdochs first foray forward they scored from a set piece and made it 1-0. We equalized late in the half from a well worked set piece to find Forbes lurking in the box to fire it home to make it 1-1 at half time.

A positive first half was false dawn for the second half where we defended poorly and could not create with any efficiency and Murdoch duly punished us, hitting us with 3 sucker punch goals to make it 4-1 with 20 to go! I will say the boys pushed on last 10-15 mins and on another more clinical day could've snatched an unlikely draw but full credit to Murdoch who saw out the game well!

A goal late by substitute Liang made it 4-2 and made the score more respectable. Disappointing day for the team with a number of sub par performances! On a better note Perth AFC reserves were dominant from start to finish winning 6-1 and a few players stating their claim to play in the league side!
